Ramp and Sage establish multi-year partnership to drive business growth and efficiency

We’re excited to announce that Ramp has expanded our partnership with Sage into a strategic, multi-year relationship. Ramp originally launched its integration with Sage Intacct in 2020. It evolved into a Sage Recommended Solution with a 'Plus Tier' designation in 2023 and achieved recognition as one of Sage’s 'Platinum Club Partners' in 2024. Both companies are now making a significant long-term commitment to deepen and expand their partnership over the next several years, further reinforcing their shared vision and mutual investment in continued growth and innovation.

Building on its status as a trusted, vetted Plus Tier partner with Sage–recognized for the robust integration, ability to scale, and high mutual customer ratings–Ramp continues to make significant investments in enhancing and expanding its integration with Sage, further deepening the partnership for long-term success.

"This strategic collaboration demonstrates our long-term commitment to delivering innovative solutions that streamline financial processes and drive business growth. By combining Ramp's cutting-edge technology with Sage's robust financial management capabilities, we are empowering businesses with powerful tools to manage their finances more effectively, enhancing efficiency and fostering growth,” said Chip Mahan, Global Head of Payments and Banking, Sage.

By integrating with Sage, Ramp has helped over a thousand businesses close their books up to 8x faster each month. Intelligent accounting rules automate time consuming tasks enabling finance teams to map merchants and expense categories to any Sage accounting field including Category, Department, Location, and more. The integration features multi-entity support and custom field and user-defined dimension (UDD) support to enable businesses of all shapes and sizes to leverage the powerful financial automation between both platforms. Most recently, Ramp has built internationally issued cards and international reimbursement debiting support to further support mutual customers.

REVA Air Ambulance, a provider of emergency airlift services to help patients get medical treatment when they’re far from home, has used Ramp with Sage to save time, improve visibility, and gain peace of mind.

“We were able to mold Ramp to our company to set it up as needed within departments. But the biggest selling feature to us was the automatic, real-time integration with Sage,” said Seth Miller, Controller, REVA. “Sage and Ramp work so well together. There hasn’t been a single issue with the data sync once it was set up. Now, everything is syncing 24/7, so if something is charged anywhere in the world, I’m aware of it within a moment’s notice.”

Ramp is a preferred finance operations platform offering corporate card, spend, and expense management solutions for Sage’s customer base.

We’re proud to be a Sage strategic partner with continued investment into the integration over the coming years to help Sage customers save more time and money.

More vendors are allowing for discounts now, because they’re seeing the quick payment. That started with Ramp—getting everyone paid on time. We’ll get a 1-2% discount for paying early. That doesn’t sound like a lot, but when you’re dealing with hundreds of millions of dollars, it does add up.

I was shocked at how easy it was to set up Ramp and get our end users to adopt it. Our prior procurement platform took six months to implement, and it was a lot of labor. Ramp was so easy it was almost scary.
