As part of our ongoing Accountant Spotlight series, we are excited to introduce Stacey Feldman, CPA, a pioneer in the accounting world and Partner/COO at Full Send Finance.

Now let's dive in to Stacey's story where we will cover how she carved a unique niche in the industry, blending her accounting acumen with an entrepreneurial spirit.

Embracing challenges as opportunities

Stacey’s accounting journey started with a professor's remark that the smartest students would major in accounting—a challenge Stacey eagerly accepted.

Her professional career began with a bold decision: turning down Big 4 offers to explore diverse opportunities in finance and startups.

Redefining success from startup to industry leader

Stacey's first major role at PopSockets marked the beginning of her remarkable journey. As the first employee, she was pivotal in scaling the company to a $300 million enterprise.

Her experience there fueled her passion for the startup world, leading her to Full Send Finance in 2023. Here, she combines her accounting expertise with her entrepreneurial experiences, focusing on early-stage and VC-backed startups.

Empowering startups with financial expertise

At Full Send Finance, Stacey Feldman channels her expertise into empowering their clients. Her strategy and experience are perfectly suited to a niche where innovation and agility are crucial.

Stacey's passion stems from her awareness of how crucial scalable accounting and finance functions are to the expansion of these businesses. The cornerstone of their service to clients lies in two critical areas: insightful reporting and effective communication. Stacey and her team dedicate themselves to delivering crucial insights pivotal to their clients' progress. Their constant, open communication in founder-friendly language fosters a deeper, more meaningful connection with clients.

Tackling challenges with tailored solutions

Stacey adeptly navigates the common hurdles her clients face, focusing on areas like cash management, insightful data analysis, and strategic guidance.

She's skilled at transforming complex financial data into clear, actionable insights, a service invaluable to founders with limited finance expertise.

Stacey's role transcends mere number crunching; she guides startups on their financial journey, offering much-needed direction and clarity.

Transforming STC's financial operations

Stacey made a significant impact at Supertramp Campers (STC), revamping their financial management. She enhanced inventory tracking, streamlined COGS reporting, and modernized their quoting and invoicing processes.

Her efforts were instrumental in STC securing crucial bank financing, showcasing her ability to deliver real results. Stacey's collaboration with STC involved introducing advanced analysis methods and integrating new financial tools like Ramp for AP management. This strategic overhaul not only optimized STC's operations but also facilitated critical funding for their new product line, marking a successful partnership.

Stacey believes in leveraging AI and machine learning to keep Full Send Finance at the forefront of accounting technological advancements. This proactive approach to adopting new technologies sets the firm apart and resonates deeply with their tech-savvy startup clientele. Maintaining cutting-edge technology lets them customize services to client needs and align with their commitment to modern, efficient accounting.

Beyond the balance sheets

Stacey's life outside of accounting is as dynamic as her professional one. An avid lover of the outdoors, she finds joy in mountain biking, skiing, and hiking. Her adventurous spirit and love of nature add a unique dimension to her personality, reflecting her driven and outgoing approach to life and work.

In summary

Stacey Feldman's story is more than a career narrative; it's a source of inspiration for anyone looking to make a meaningful impact in accounting.

Her journey from a curious business student to a leader in startup-focused accounting challenges the status quo and inspires future generations.

At Ramp, we celebrate Stacey's innovative spirit and significant contributions to reshaping the accounting landscape.
