New on Ramp: January Edition

The new year is here, and we’re kicking off 2025 with upgrades that’ll remove friction in your finances. From reconciling discrepancies to making reimbursements even more precise, here’s a look at six of our biggest January enhancements.

A brand-new reconciliation tool for QuickBooks

Closing the books no longer has to be an exhausting, error-prone marathon.

Ramp’s brand-new reconciliation tool for QuickBooks automatically flags discrepancies between your ERP and Ramp balances, ensuring accurate books in a fraction of the time. For those using NetSuite, a reconciliation tool will be available later in the quarter.

Track down missing expenses and get insights to help you close your books faster.

Workday and QuickBooks Desktop API integrations

We’re unveiling new API integrations with Workday and QuickBooks Desktop to supercharge your accounting workflows.

Sync transactions, receipts, and expense reports directly into your ERP and watch your manual data-entry headaches disappear. These integrations also accommodate multi-entity operations, helping deliver automated compliance and accurate record-keeping, despite complexity.

The Workday integration is available for all Enterprise plans. The Quickbooks Desktop integration is available for Plus plans.

Simplified vendor onboarding

Collecting vendor details shouldn’t feel like a full-time job.

Our updated procurement workflow lets you gather payment terms, tax details, and more—all from within Ramp.

You’ll save time while simultaneously ensuring your vendor records stay up-to-date… no endless email chains required.

More streamlined payments

Paying your bills just got a serious upgrade.

With Batch Payments, you can combine multiple invoices for a single vendor into one transaction—decluttering your bank feed and cutting down on transaction fees.

Plus, you can ensure only specific team members are authorized to release payments—tightening security and compliance at every step.

More accurate mileage reimbursements

Employees can now record their exact route in real time on mobile, guaranteeing pinpoint-accurate reimbursements without the guesswork.

And if you’re submitting mileage retroactively, Ramp lets you quickly add frequent destinations or roundtrip journeys.

That means less time fiddling with forms and more time enjoying the journey.

Keep it compliant with receipt affidavits

Lost receipts can derail audits and complicate compliance. Enter Ramp’s Receipt Affidavit feature, which can generate a guided workflow that certifies missing receipts and creates auditable documentation automatically.

Leave those vague free-form comments in 2024.

Receipt affidavit functionality is available on all Plus plans.

Whether it’s smarter reconciliation, streamlined procurement, or faster expense submissions, Ramp is here to make your finances friction-free.

More vendors are allowing for discounts now, because they’re seeing the quick payment. That started with Ramp—getting everyone paid on time. We’ll get a 1-2% discount for paying early. That doesn’t sound like a lot, but when you’re dealing with hundreds of millions of dollars, it does add up.

I was shocked at how easy it was to set up Ramp and get our end users to adopt it. Our prior procurement platform took six months to implement, and it was a lot of labor. Ramp was so easy it was almost scary.
