Security and compliance
As a small engineering team, access to Ramp data is strictly limited to our engineers who handle all aspects of system development, maintenance, database management, and customer support. Access follows the same strict controls as our existing ERP data integrations, with role-based permissions ensuring only authorized engineers can access customer data for legitimate business purposes including system maintenance, troubleshooting, database operations, and providing technical support to customers.
All access is logged and monitored. We maintain detailed access logs and require multi-factor authentication for database access. Given our small engineering-focused team, we maintain strict oversight of who accesses customer Ramp financial data, and access is governed by the same rigorous security protocols as our existing ERP integrations.
We retain historical Ramp financial data indefinitely, consistent with our existing ERP data retention policy. This retention serves legitimate business purposes including long-term expense trend analysis, historical financial reporting requirements, compliance with customer audit and regulatory needs, cross-platform financial analysis combining Ramp and ERP data, and business intelligence and forecasting for financial teams.
Data can be purged upon customer request or contract termination, following a 30-day notice period to ensure smooth transition.
