Top SaaS Vendors on Ramp (May 2026)
Every month, Ramp processes billions of dollars in business expenses on its corporate card and bill pay platform. And every month, we rank the new vendors that customers are purchasing from for the first time to give you a glimpse into emerging market trends, companies on the rise, and more.
Two software trends from Ramp data today:
- We previously found that AI token spend per firm is up 13x since January 2025. The routing of those tokens is starting to fragment. Four of the top 10 trending vendors are AI inference platforms (Fireworks AI, fal AI, DeepInfra, Vast.ai), each pitching access to a wider, cheaper array of models than what comes through OpenAI or Anthropic directly. I think this is the cleanest signal we’ve seen that firms are getting selective about which model handles which workload: frontier models for the hard problems, cheaper models for the rest. Firms are increasingly applying cost discipline amid high-profile stories about tech companies blowing through their AI budgets.
- Three of the top 10 fastest-growing software vendors are web deployment platforms. Vercel, Netlify, and Lovable all show up on this list. Some of that growth is real SaaS substitution: last week, a founder of a 10-person corporate entertainment startup told me he vibe-coded his own CRM and deployed it on Vercel rather than paying for a legacy tool. While he acknowledged his solution wouldn’t translate to large enterprise, he preferred designing his own tool where he could add features his firm needed and cut the ones they didn’t — all at a much lower cost. Regardless of whether a SaaSpocalypse happens, these platforms win either way, since AI-built apps still need to be deployed somewhere, and the model companies have not tried to compete yet.
Our Top SaaS Vendors series is built using data from Ramp Rate, a data-backed vendor directory we launched earlier this year. Track market share, business adoption, and growth trends across categories using Ramp’s proprietary data built with actual transactions across 50,000-plus businesses on Ramp's spend platform.
