Top SaaS vendors on Ramp (December 2025)
Every month, Ramp processes billions of dollars in business expenses on its corporate card and bill pay platform. And every month, we rank the new vendors that customers are purchasing from for the first time to give you a glimpse into emerging market trends, companies on the rise, and much more.
It was a big month for Google, which launched Gemini 3 and image model Nano Banana Pro at the end of November. The Financial Times published the chart below tracking consumer app downloads for Gemini vs. ChatGPT, which showed Google is finally finding its place as a leader for consumer AI usage. This result was not preordained — a year ago, many thought Google had ceded its head start in developing AI to the much smaller OpenAI. The startup got to market faster, released new models faster, and added new users and products faster.

According to the latest data from Ramp AI Index, OpenAI is still the definitive leader in business adoption, but our results likely underestimate actual business adoption of Gemini and Google’s AI suite. First, earlier this year, Google made its pro AI features free with all Google Workspace plans. A significant amount of business usage is likely happening directly within Google Workspace, and therefore cannot be tracked with our business spend dataset. Second, a significant amount of Gemini usage goes through Google’s developer API. This category of spend is typically larger but used by a smaller set of companies making large-scale AI investments. Our measure, which tracks business adoption, would underrate those relatively “intense” spenders.
But other parts of Ramp’s dataset clearly show the growth in Google’s AI offerings, if indirectly. Following the launch of Gemini 3 and Nano Banana Pro, Google added net-new spend faster than any other software company Ramp customers purchase from. It also placed fifth on our list for fastest growth in new customers (active Ramp businesses who hadn’t previously transacted with Google Workspace, Cloud, or other enterprise Google products). Established enterprise firms like Google don’t get results like this outside of a major, splashy launch.
Here’s a breakdown of the top SaaS vendors last month:
By new customer count | By new spend |
|---|---|
1. Replit | 1. Google |
2. OpenAI | 2. ServiceNow |
3. Canva | 3. Gong |
4. Intuit | 4. Bird |
5. Anthropic | 5. Applied Intuition |
And the fastest-growing vendors:
By largest percentage change in new customer count | By largest percentage change in new spend |
|---|---|
1. Replit | 1. ServiceNow |
2. Lucid Software | 2. Google |
3. Atlassian | 3. Fusionware |
4. Clerk | 4. Datadog |
5. Google | 5. Gong |
Standouts
- Replit topped our list among a crowded field of vibe-coding platforms, beating OpenAI and Anthropic, which have both launched their own AI coding agents competing with dedicated coding platforms like Replit, Cursor, and Lovable.
- Applied Intuition builds next-generation software for autonomous vehicles and operating systems. While most of the buzz on autonomous vehicles revolves around consumer applications (Waymo), Applied Intuition focuses on business use cases in industries such as mining and construction. They’re a good example of how consumer hype can overlook the most productivity-enhancing applications of a new technology.
- Gong appeared on our list for the second-month in a row. Gong’s chief product officer, Eilon Reshef, sat down for an insightful interview with Lenny’s Podcast earlier this year. Lenny said “it feels like basically every company that has a sales team uses Gong.” This matches my impression talking to sales executives.
See you next month.
