Strengthening our leadership bench

As Ramp continues its rapid growth, our foundational mission remains unchanged: helping companies achieve more by spending less. With our ambitious roadmap for 2025, we're strengthening our leadership team to deliver even greater value to our customers. Today, we’re pleased to announce key promotions that will help drive our next phase of growth.

We are promoting Will Petrie to Chief Financial Officer, Geoff Charles to Chief Product Officer, and Nik Koblov to EVP of Engineering.

These leaders have been instrumental in shaping Ramp’s success — from scaling our platform to building a team focused on driving customer impact. Their promotions are a testament to the extraordinary impact they’ve made as we build a smarter, faster, and increasingly customer-centric company.

  • Will, who pairs analytical depth with precise execution, has helped the company grow its contribution profit by an order of magnitude and secured nearly $1B in new financings over the past two years. His ability to distill our business into its core drivers and communicate them simply has sharpened our focus on what matters most: delivering maximum value to our customers.
  • Geoff, our first product hire (and among our first 15 team members), has led our evolution from pre-launch to product-market fit to five distinct, industry-leading product lines. His customer obsession and his commitment to velocity — and to continuously refining product quality — have created a machine that ships over 150 new products per year that make it easier for customers to seamlessly manage their finances.
  • Nik, who embodies engineering excellence, has scaled Ramp’s engineering team from a handful of people to hundreds of the most talented engineers in tech. By emphasizing talent density, active mentorship, modern systems, and lightning-fast release cycles, he has laid a robust foundation for our next wave of customer-focused features and infrastructure improvements.

As co-founders, we've always believed that building a world-class company requires nurturing and elevating exceptional talent from within. These promotions reflect our commitment to this principle and our confidence in the strong leadership bench we've developed at Ramp.

Looking ahead, we’ve set significant goals — including expanding our product suite, exploring new markets, and doubling down on the innovations that have made Ramp the go-to partner for any business seeking to operate at higher levels of financial efficiency. With Will, Geoff, and Nik in these expanded roles, and the hard work of the entire company, we're better positioned than ever to make a positive impact on the businesses we serve.

Whether you’re a longtime customer, a brand-new partner, or simply following along, we’re incredibly excited about what lies ahead and couldn't be more confident in this team to help take us there.

Please join us in congratulating Will, Geoff, and Nik!

With Ramp, everything lives in one place. You can click into a vendor and see every transaction, invoice, and contract. That didn’t exist in Zip. It’s made approvals much faster because decision-makers aren’t chasing down information—they have it all at their fingertips.

How Sana Benefits improved control over T&E spend with Ramp Travel

More vendors are allowing for discounts now, because they’re seeing the quick payment. That started with Ramp—getting everyone paid on time. We’ll get a 1-2% discount for paying early. That doesn’t sound like a lot, but when you’re dealing with hundreds of millions of dollars, it does add up.

How SAM Construction Group LLC gained visibility and supported scale with Ramp Procurement

We’ve simplified our workflows while improving accuracy, and we are faster in closing with the help of automation. We could not have achieved this without the solutions Ramp brought to the table.

How Poshmark exceeded its free cash flow goals with Ramp

I was shocked at how easy it was to set up Ramp and get our end users to adopt it. Our prior procurement platform took six months to implement, and it was a lot of labor. Ramp was so easy it was almost scary.
