How to build a modern back office
A fireside chat on how startups and growing companies can move beyond traditional bookkeeping and build a tech-enabled back office that drives strategic value. Covers how to identify and eliminate inefficiencies in legacy finance operations, where AI and automation make the biggest difference, how to build a modern finance tech stack with tools that integrate well, and how to evolve finance skill sets as technology changes the work.
Alex Wittenberg from airCFO, Sasha Orloff of Puzzle, and Ramp's David Wieseneck share what they've seen work across companies at different stages of growth.
Credit cards vs. automation
Why traditional corporate card reward programs often cost more than they return, and what a modern, automation-first approach to spend management looks like. Covers how point programs are structured to work against business financial interests, why disconnected card and expense tools prevent real-time visibility, and what AI-native spend management with automated policy enforcement looks like in practice.
Ramp's Andrew Chapello and Tyler Zimmer walk through the comparison with examples from how companies are managing spend today.
Specialized topics
Beyond our broader tech webinars, we regularly cover specific areas that operations and finance leaders are working through as they modernize their tech stacks.
Modern back-office infrastructure
The tools a company uses to manage its finances have a direct impact on how fast and accurately the team can operate. Our webinars on back-office infrastructure cover how to evaluate your current stack, where legacy tools create friction, and what a modern, integrated finance setup looks like for growing companies.
Spend management technology
Corporate cards and expense tools are often the first piece of finance technology a company adopts, and frequently the most overdue for an upgrade. Our webinars on spend management cover how automation, real-time visibility, and AI-native workflows replace the manual overhead of traditional card programs and disconnected expense tools.
Finance technology evaluation
Choosing the right finance tools involves more than comparing feature lists. Our webinars on tech evaluation cover how to identify where your current tools are costing you time, how to assess the real ROI of a platform change, and how to build a tech stack that scales as the business grows.
