AI Summary
Ramp started with a corporate card. Today, we’re building the financial infrastructure that helps businesses spend, pay, control, and automate work wherever that work begins.
For some partners, that means building finance automation directly into the product their customers already use. For others, it means making a simple recommendation at the moment a customer asks: What should we use to manage spend?
Both are valuable. Neither should be hard to start.
That’s why today we’re relaunching the Ramp Technology Partner Program: a clearer way to build with Ramp, refer customers to Ramp, and grow alongside Ramp. There are three ways in, real economics from the start, and a growing group of technology leaders already building with us.
Ramp is becoming more than a card
The systems businesses rely on are changing quickly. Finance is no longer a workflow that starts after the work is done. It is becoming part of the products where companies hire, buy, build, and operate.
Ramp is changing with it.
In recent months, we have expanded the ways businesses and developers can build on Ramp. Our developer API continues to grow. Our recently refreshed API documentation makes it easier to understand what is available and get started. Partners can work with real-time spend data, approval workflows, user provisioning and spend controls, virtual cards, vendor payouts, and more.
We are also bringing Ramp into new workflows that did not exist a year ago. Ramp for Agents lets AI agents help founders incorporate a company, apply for Ramp, and run financial operations. AI Token Spend Management gives companies visibility and control across their AI software spend. Ramp Stack brings AI purpose-built for accountants into the close process, where the work actually happens. That same belief also powers Ramp Router, our new early-access LLM router that launched last week: one API endpoint for accessing multiple AI models. Instead of wiring your app to one provider at a time, you send requests through our router which can choose the right model for the job based on quality, cost, and availability.
The direction is clear: financial operations are becoming more connected, more programmable, and more automated.
If you are building software for businesses, there is a growing surface to build on. And it is now much easier to get started.
Three ways to partner with Ramp
Not every partner needs an integration. Not every partner needs the same business model. The program is designed around three ways to work with Ramp.
Referral: Make the introduction. Earn when customers choose Ramp.
Your customers already ask you for recommendations on the tools that run their business. If Ramp is the right answer for their spend management, cards, payments, or financial operations, you can make that introduction without building anything including through a cloud marketplace co-sell motion, where eligible.
Referral partners earn on qualified customer conversions, with referral bonuses available for eligible partners and their referred customers. It is the simplest path into the program: no technical lift, a clear value-add for your customers, and real participation in the growth you create.
Integration: Build an integration. Get discovered.
If your product becomes more useful when it connects to Ramp, build the integration and make it available to the businesses already looking for it.
Whether you're building an MCP connector, hooking into our procurement workflow, or working with spend controls and provisioning — integration partners can be listed in Ramp’s integration directory, helping their product reach more than 70,000 businesses that use Ramp to simplify their finances. You bring the workflow your customers depend on. Ramp brings the financial data and actions that make that workflow more complete.
Embedded: Bring Ramp’s financial automation into your product.
For partners building deeper financial experiences, Ramp’s APIs make it possible to bring financial automation directly into your product.
This is the path for teams that want to build closer to the moment a customer needs to issue a card, enforce a policy, access financial data, or move money. We will share more as this program evolves.
A partner program built to grow with you
Partnerships should get more valuable as the work compounds. The Ramp Technology Partner Program is designed to do that.
Partners are eligible to receive referral incentives and starts with access to the Partner Portal, aggregated client insights, a co-branded referral page, and Sandbox and Developer Console access. As partners grow, the program adds the support and investment needed to further build and go to market together.
The work is already underway
This program builds on partnerships already helping businesses run better.
Ramp is working alongside companies including ADP, Anthropic, AWS, Google, Microsoft, OpenAI, Slack, Uber, Gusto, Ironclad and more. Some partners help customers connect the systems they already rely on. Others are exploring how finance can become a native part of a product experience. All of them are responding to the same customer need: less time stitching together financial work, and more time moving the business forward.
Build with us or come back in
If you have partnered with Ramp before, this relaunch is an easier path back in: clearer program models, defined benefits, and more ways to create value for your customers. Reach out to your partner manager to re-engage.
If you are new to Ramp, start with the model that fits how you work. Refer customers. Build an integration. Or explore how Ramp’s financial automation can become part of your product.
The best business software does not send customers to another destination to finish the job. It brings the right action into the workflow where the decision is already being made.
We are building that future with our partners.
