Ramp CLI v0.1.4: Treasury access, vendor documents, and bills — now in your terminal

With v0.1.4, the Ramp CLI picks up three capabilities that go well beyond querying transactions.

Access your Treasury accounts from the command line

ramp treasury is a new resource that gives you direct access to your Ramp Treasury accounts — listing accounts, checking balances, and viewing transfers. The same data you’d pull from the Treasury tab in your dashboard is now available as a command, ready to feed into scripts or AI workflows.

Upload vendor documents programmatically

Your team can now upload W-9s, W-8s, certificates of insurance, contracts, and vendor onboarding paperwork directly through the CLI. Upload a document, get back a job ID, and poll for OCR status — no dashboard login required. The new vendor-document-upload skill walks through the full workflow, including bulk status checks.

Query bills with filters

ramp bills list returns your vendor bills with filtering by status, vendor, and date range. Combine it with --agent and the output is ready for an AI tool to act on — route for approval, flag overdue invoices, or feed a reconciliation workflow.

Self-update in one command

ramp update replaces your installed binary in place. No need to re-run the install script.

To upgrade:

ramp update
# or from scratch:
curl -fsSL https://agents.ramp.com/install.sh | sh

ramp update

The ramp treasury resource group lets you list Treasury accounts, check balances, and view transfers directly from your terminal. This mirrors the data in the Treasury tab of the Ramp dashboard, but in a CLI-friendly format that you can plug into scripts, monitoring jobs, or AI agents.

You can upload W-9s, W-8s, certificates of insurance, contracts, and other vendor onboarding paperwork. The CLI returns a job ID for each upload, and you can poll that ID to track OCR processing status. The vendor-document-upload skill walks through single and bulk upload workflows.

ramp bills list returns vendor bills with filters for status, vendor, and date range. When combined with --agent, the output is structured for AI tools, making it easier to build workflows that route bills for approval, flag overdue invoices, or reconcile against your accounting system.

Browserbase builds infrastructure so AI agents can do real work. Ramp is doing the same for finance. It’s not another tool. It’s a system purpose-built for AI-driven finance, and that’s why we chose Ramp as our financial operating system from day one.

With Ramp, we haven’t had to add accounting headcount to keep up with growth. The biggest takeaway is that instead of hiring our way through it, we fixed the workflow so we can keep supporting the organization as we scale.
