Ramp CLI v0.1.1: Build on top of your Ramp data

Everything you see in your Ramp dashboard — transactions, bills, fund balances — can now be pulled directly into your AI-assistant of choice from a single command.

Use the Ramp CLI to query any Ramp resource directly from your terminal

Any output can feed directly into a script, a report, or an AI tool. Add --agent and the results come back in a format specifically designed for AI workflows — a stable structure that works with Claude and other LLMs without any translation layer in between.

Pre-built finance workflows, included

The CLI ships with ready-to-use workflows for purchase automation, receipt compliance, transaction cleanup, and approvals. Your team installs them with ramp skills install and they drop directly into Claude Code.

Getting started

curl -fsSL https://agents.ramp.com/install.sh | sh

FAQs

The Ramp CLI is a command-line tool that lets you query Ramp resources—such as transactions, bills, and fund balances—directly from your terminal. It’s designed to plug into scripts, automation, and AI assistants so you can work with live Ramp data without building a custom integration.

When you add the --agent flag to a Ramp CLI command, the output is formatted in a stable, AI-friendly structure. This makes it easy to pass directly into Claude or other LLMs without extra parsing or transformation. You can then build workflows for tasks like transaction review, anomaly detection, or reconciliation using your assistant.

No. Authentication is handled through your browser. After installing the CLI, you run ramp auth login, which opens a browser window for you to sign in to Ramp. Once you complete the flow, the CLI is authorized to access your Ramp data according to your permissions.

The Ramp CLI is available for Mac and Linux. You install it using the provided shell script:

curl -fsSL https://agents.ramp.com/install.sh | sh
