Jason Penegar, CPA

Jason Penegar is the current Vice President – Controller at the Boys & Girls Clubs of America. Jason joined BGCA in February 2018. He has held senior finance and accounting roles for more than 10 years and has more than 25 years of professional experience. Prior to the Boys & Girls Clubs of America, he served in the manufacturing industry for Serta Simmons Bedding and Printpack, where he spent 15 years in progressive finance and accounting leadership roles. Early in his career, he was an auditor and audit supervisor for Grant Thornton, LLP. Jason earned his BBA with major in accounting and MBA with major in finance and management, with both degrees from Kennesaw State University. He maintains an active CPA license in the State of Georgia.

Gee Lim is currently the Director of Finance at The Joffrey Ballet in Chicago, combining his professional finance background with his passion for the performing arts. His previous work experience includes a mix of nonprofits and tech companies, such as Make-A-Wish Illinois, M1 Finance, and Steppenwolf Theatre Company. In his free time, Gee enjoys traveling, attending live performances around town, and teaching his corgi Muji new tricks.
