Jason Penegar is the current Vice President – Controller at the Boys & Girls Clubs of America. Jason joined BGCA in February 2018. He has held senior finance and accounting roles for more than 10 years and has more than 25 years of professional experience. Prior to the Boys & Girls Clubs of America, he served in the manufacturing industry for Serta Simmons Bedding and Printpack, where he spent 15 years in progressive finance and accounting leadership roles. Early in his career, he was an auditor and audit supervisor for Grant Thornton, LLP. Jason earned his BBA with major in accounting and MBA with major in finance and management, with both degrees from Kennesaw State University. He maintains an active CPA license in the State of Georgia.
